Job Description

Colligate India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Sales Officer – FMCG & Merchandising to manage sales and merchandising activities in the Krishna District area.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining product availability, ensuring proper product displays, implementing merchandising standards and supporting sales growth across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure products are always available and properly displayed at retail outlets.
• Maintain shelf availability across assigned stores.
• Ensure compliance with company planogram and display guidelines.
• Deploy POSM materials such as posters, banners and danglers.
• Implement proper product placement and visibility.
• Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices for stock rotation.
• Monitor stock levels and product movement.
• Visit retail outlets and monitor merchandising standards.
• Build and maintain good relationships with retailers.
• Support sales growth within the assigned territory.
• Coordinate with distributors, retailers and internal sales teams.
• Prepare regular sales and merchandising reports.

Eligibility

• Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG sales / merchandising is mandatory.
• Experience in retail sales and merchandising is preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCG distribution and retail operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Good understanding of product placement and merchandising practices.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a field-based sales environment.
