Job Description
GROWEL FEEDS PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for an experienced Stores Manager to manage the overall stores and inventory operations at its aqua-feed manufacturing plant in Chevuru Village, Mudinepalle.
The selected candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material receipt and storage, stock verification, ERP documentation, team management and coordination with procurement, production, finance and maintenance departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels for raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares and consumables.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices and quality approvals.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and preservation of materials.
- Issue materials to production and maintenance departments on time.
- Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory records.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and annual stock verification.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Monitor inventory ageing and prevent material expiry or deterioration.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Maintain GRNs, issue slips, stock registers, transfer records and inventory reports.
- Prepare daily and monthly inventory MIS reports.
- Supervise store officers, storekeepers and warehouse assistants.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Finance and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, 5S, warehouse safety standards and company SOPs.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering.
- MBA or Diploma in Materials Management is an added advantage.
- Candidates with any degree and relevant experience may also be considered.
- 7–10 years of experience in stores and inventory management.
- At least 3–5 years of managerial experience in feed, FMCG, food processing or manufacturing industries.
- Experience in an aqua-feed mill is preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory documentation is preferred.
