A 21-year-old motorcycle rider, Devarakonda Rajesh, died in a road accident at Mantada Centre in Pamidimukkala mandal of Krishna district. According to police, the accident occurred while Rajesh was travelling from Uyyuru towards Pamarru on a motorcycle.
What happened?
Police said Rajesh was allegedly travelling at high speed when he approached a curve at Mantada Centre. He reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, causing the bike and rider to veer off the road.
The entire incident was reportedly captured on CCTV footage. The footage shows the motorcycle losing control at the curve, with Rajesh and the motorcycle being thrown into the air before hitting the road.
Rider dies at the spot
Rajesh suffered severe head injuries in the crash and died at the scene, according to police. The incident shocked people in the surrounding area and renewed concerns about speeding on local roads.
Police investigation
